Gilbert Walker is one of the most reputable legal advisory and dispute resolution practices in Auckland. As a relatively small, boutique outfit that had a bare-bones brand identity, they found an opportunity in an original brief for a website refresh, a new impetus to have a complete brand identity.
The requirement was to create an identity that reflected their commitment to excellence, innovation and true collaboration. I developed an unexpectedly soft, but contemporary visual system from the parallel lines of their new logo to evoke their brand promise of ‘closer’. They are the firm to get closer to the answer, work in closer collaboration with their clients and support their team in getting closer to their career goals. The identity included a suite of staff and company photography that I art directed, to bring across the their ethos of being ‘we people, not me people’.
